Key things are happening in the startup and political environment at the moment. The two most notable and interesting initiatives are Minister of Trade and Industry Jan Christian Vestre’s “Grunderpakke” and NAST, the Norwegian Alliance for Startups and Tech.

For our next Tech TownHall, we will deep dive into both initiatives with two sessions. We’ll kick off with an “innspilsmøte” (feedback forum) for “Gründermeldingen” hosted by Jan Christian Vestre, the Minister of Trade and Industry, followed by a session where we’ll deep dive into the status of NAST and the political progress of the startup scene. During the second session, Vegard Vik (co-founder and CFO of Oda) and Merete Nygaard (founder and CEO of Lexolve) will represent the startup scene, and we have invited Jan Christian Vestre to share his views. This calls for an interesting conversation.

It’s also a special day for our hub as we are finally able to open Mesh Youngstorget for the public after 5 months of closure due to the flood. We look forward to showing you the new improvements but most of all, we look forward to getting back to normal operations at both our hubs.
