CARE Talks

Artificial intelligence, a driver or a threat for equality?
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) offers enormous opportunities to improve services as well as delivering them more efficiently.

PA Consulting has carried out a study in collaboration with CARE Norway on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Norwegian health care system and looked into some of the ethical issues associated with implementing AI. The report is the result of a series of interviews with health experts, AI suppliers and clinicians with a focus on examining the current use of AI, assessment of the current handling of bias, and mapping the risk of gender bias.
